Twice, twice today, I’ve had people start some passive-aggressive crap with me. That monotoned “I’m-not-obviously-attacking-you” crap. And, dear souls… I’m over it! My patience for those who want to attack you undercover, who think they can say crazy, disprespectful things to you and get away with it–I’m done! Ya heard?! I’m done.
I get it–you’re miserable! You’re bitter. You think that life is a struggle, a war, an inferno…whatever! And, it annoys the hell out of you that I walk around like the world is filled with sunshine and rainbows. But, what you don’t get is… I don’t care! I don’t care that you’re miserable, stressed, and constantly screaming victim. I’m not losing sleep over here, because you cannot seem to switch your view of the world from victim to champion! And, what’s more…if you attack me both overtly or covertly… I will hand you your ass! If I don’t attack you, and find that you’ve attacked me, I’m going for the jugular! I’m OVER being some miserable soul’s punching bag! Being enlightened doesn’t mean being a victim. And, taking the high road shouldn’t be confused with being a pushover. I’m not having it!
I’m calling you out cowards of the world! I’m calling you out for the no-faith-having, no courage-gathering, bitter, anger souls you are! I OWE YOU NOTHING! The world OWES YOU NOTHING! Did you hear me? The root of all your issues is YOU, not me, not the system, not the government, the rich, the poor, this race, that race, this religion, that religion, no… it’s YOU, period. It’s time to be real. It’s time to hold ’em, or fold ’em. It’s time to be the change you wish to see, or, go gently into that good night. And, it’s not our job to keep making excuses for your shortcomings. In fact, if someone really wants to help you they’ll stop being your welcome mat. They will show you the line and tell you to toe it, or leave! It’s time to make people own their words, actions and deeds! And, if you cannot do it, stay silent and do nothing! Because the time for me feeling sorry for your thoughtlessness, your self-absorbtion, your willful ignorance and fear has expired. I see you, and I’m not going to make excuses for you anymore.
It’s going to be really hard for some people to realize that the person they truly are, is someone they, themselves would never want to know. But, before there can be healing, the wound must be exposed. If you don’t like who you are, then change! And, if you don’t know what to do, seek, seek and seek some more, until you find something that works! Because, truly, we don’t owe you anything. It’s not our job to make you feel good about yourselves. It’s not our duty to validate you for you. It’s not our job to be the whipping boy simply because you’re having a bad time of it! So, if you start it, expect someont to finish it! If you want great results, then put forth great effort. And, if you want to take shortcuts, easy ways, and getting over, I can guarantee this: You’ll NEVER get there. You’ve been told. So, act like you know.
